UCLA Senior, Stella Savvidou, underwent a third surgery on her wrist on Monday.
Savvidou stated on Twitter that as of now, she is focusing on healing up and it is unknown if she will be returning to competition in 2019.
Savvidou previously underwent two other surgeries on the same wrist during her Junior year.
After attempting to return to competition during the 2018 season, Savvidou and the coaches decided it would be best for her to redshirt the season to allow her wrist to fully heal, as the healing process was not going as hoped.
If Savvidou does not return to competition in 2019, the Senior will still be eligible to compete for the Bruins for two more years.
