Elite gymnast, Laney Madsen, who is currently a member of the Bulgarian national team, has verbally committed to UCLA.
The 18-year-old will most likely not be attending UCLA this fall, as she hopes to compete for Bulgaria in the 2020 Olympics. While she has not said what year she will be attending, it is assumed she will start in the fall of 2020.
Madsen trains at Gym-Max under head coach Hao Quan Liang.
Madsen started her gymnastics career in 2014 while simultaneously competing as a cheerleader. Her determination to compete in both sports has inspired a lot of people. She is definitely a leader and will be a great fit for UCLA!
