Future Bruin Emily Lee placed second in the all-around competition at the American Classic on Saturday in Salt Lake City, Utah. She also qualified to compete at the U.S. National Championships in August.
16-year-old Lee competed in the senior competition, where she also took home the title on floor exercise with a score of 13.800. Lee placed third on both vault and uneven bars, scoring a 13.450 and 12.500, respectively. She placed sixth on the balance beam with a score of 12.800.
A couple of other future Bruins competed in the junior competition on Friday. Katelyn Rosen and Ariel Posen placed 13th and 17th in the all-around competition, respectively.
Rosen tied for third on the balance beam with a score of 13.200 while Ariel tied for 9th on the same event.
Lee will be a freshman at UCLA in the fall of 2021, Posen the fall of 2022 and Rosen the fall of 2023.
