Future Bruins Sydney Barros and Jordan Chiles made the junior and senior national teams, respectively, on Sunday.
Barros came in 5th place in the junior all-around competition at nationals with a score of 109.800, while Chiles placed 6th in the senior competition with a score of 110.850.
Chiles had two spectacular nights in Kansas City, Mo, hitting eight out of eight routines. She also placed 4th on vault, 7th on floor and tied for 7th on bars.
Barros, meanwhile, came in 2nd on floor exercise, tied for 3rd on bars and tied for 6th on vault.
Future Bruin, Emily Lee, placed 11th in the senior all-around competition and fell short of making the national team. She did, however, place 6th on beam and 8th on floor exercise.
As for the rest of the junior competitors, Katelyn Rosen placed 19th in the all-around competition, while Ariel Posen placed 22nd, winning a 7th place medal for her stellar performance on the balance beam.
