Redshirt senior, Grace Glenn, underwent surgery on her left shoulder today to repair a small tear.
Both Glenn and her twin sister Anna redshirted their freshmen year due to suffering from the same injury; a torn labrum. Believe it or not, they were injured the same way; by doing a double pike on floor.
This time it was only Grace who needed surgery for a more minor injury.
Don’t worry, Bruin fans, this time the surgery won’t keep Glenn from competing. The recovery should last a quick 6-8 weeks and if all goes well, she will be back to training as soon as possible.
