Each Monday I will be featuring one of this year’s incoming freshmen so that Bruin fans can get to know a little about them before the pre-season training begins.
This week we are featuring level 10 gymnast, Paige Hogan.
Hogan has been a competitive gymnast since the age of nine. She trained at Chris Waller’s GymJam Academy in Santa Clarita, Calif. and was coached by current UCLA head coach, Chris Waller. She has competed level 10 since 2017 and placed 15th in the all-around competition at the 2019 Region 1 Regional Championships with a score of 35.375. She is also a 4 time state champion on vault and floor exercise.
Hogan competes a front handspring pike vault and has trained a front handspring pike half. She also has competed a double pike on floor as well as a double front twist and a front layout full. She has also trained a full in.
