Secretly, Brooklyn Moors has been California dreamin’.

And on a winter’s day back in Cambridge, the 17-year-old Dynamo gymnast was at UCLA in Los Angeles last weekend making a verbal commitment to the 2018 NCAA national gymnastics champions. 

Verbally accepting a full scholarship offer for 2020 – waiting until after the Tokyo Olympics – the Cambridge native could join the likes of other city gymnasts, Yvonne Tousek and Aisha and Mikaela Gerber, as UCLA Bruins alumnae. All four have, at one time, been coached by Elvira Saadi.

Peng Peng Lee Appearing at Charity Event in LA Oct. 12

Tickets can still be purchased at AXS.com. Benefits will go to the charity “Give An Hour” which supports mental health.

The “Strange 80’s” event will feature tons of celebrity appearances as well as a plethora of music artists performing onstage.

UCLA Gymnastics Billboards in Los Angeles

UCLA currently has three billboards placed around Los Angeles advertising their Gymnastics team. The billboards feature an image of Kyla Ross leaping across them, with a URL to where fans can purchase tickets.

If you are looking to spot one of these billboards, they are located at the intersections of Pico and Sawtelle, Sunset and Doheny, and Wilshire and Fairfax.
